Awards may be used to support faculty development, curriculum redesign, and cross-disciplinary partnerships among academic departments and between institutions of higher education and the pre-school through high school community. Consortium partnerships may also engage in efforts to incorporate instructional technology performance and content standards into graduation, certification and recruitment requirements for new and reentry teachers.
